What We Collect

When you use RankRipper, we collect:

• URLs you scan: We store the URL and scan results so you can access your report via a unique link.
• Email address (optional): Only if you choose to subscribe for updates. We never sell or share your email.
• IP address: Used solely for rate limiting to prevent abuse. Not stored long-term or linked to scan results.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
• We do not run third-party analytics scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel).
• We do not access your store's admin, customer data, or sales information.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.

How We Scan Your Site

RankRipper scans only the publicly accessible pages of your website — the same pages Google sees when it crawls your site. We fetch your homepage, one product page, and one collection/category page. We do not log in to your store, access your admin panel, or read any private data.

Data Storage

Scan reports are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (neon.tech). Reports are accessible via their unique URL. We may implement automatic report expiration in the future to manage storage.

Third-Party Services

• Google PageSpeed Insights API: We send your URL to Google's API to measure performance. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing.
• Vercel: Our hosting provider. Vercel's privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level logging.
• Neon: Our database provider. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your scan reports or email subscription at any time by contacting us. If you subscribed to updates, every email includes an unsubscribe link.
